I just received really exciting news!
Joanne, the Manager at Barnes & Noble Booksellers called me about 20 minutes ago with an invitation to conduct a story time for children at their location in Buckhead (an area of Atlanta) next Thursday morning at 11:00 am. I am honored and super excited about this opportunity!
I'll be in the Progressive Children's Reading Area at the Barnes & Noble at 2900 Peachtree Rd., Suite 310., Atlanta, GA 30305 at 11:00 am on Thursday, February 25th. Early arrival is encouraged, since seating is limited.
I know the children and progressive parents are excited! I'll be reading the modern Golden Book children's classic, "Don't Fucking Breathe On My Kitten". It's a charming tale of a young girl's love for her kitten and the eternal bond they share. Karen is very protective of her kitten and if anyone comes close to her kitten, she'll become angry and violent and, if in public, will likely ask to speak to the manager.
So, come on down to the book store for my first public reading as Jimmy Broccoli, as I read "Don't Fucking Breathe On My Kitten". Please remember to ask for the "Progressive Children's Department" when you arrive, to make sure you are directed to the correct location for the reading.
