My Mother, Me & Sarah Brightman

Hi All

My mother and I attended only 1 concert together - and it was so much fun - it is difficult to describe (in words) what the evening meant to me - and continues to mean to me.

My mother passed away on the morning of January 3rd, 2021.

But, on October 20th, 2000, my mother sat next to me as we watched a favorite of hers and of mine.

It's was the "La Luna" tour by Sarah Brightman - and it was amazing! My mother hadn't been to a theatrical musical production like it in her life - and I hadn't either, at that point. On the stage, 14 rows ahead and with a small area beyond the security guards - was an icon, a diva, a performer my mother cared very much for (she had seen her on PBS multiple times) - and I had been a fan of Sarah Brightman for years.

Ms. Brightman entered the stage and didn't stop entertaining until over an hour later. The entire night was magical.

Afterwards, my mother and I went to Denny's and had a wonderful and fun conversation. On that evening, we had the time of our lives.

Although probably not filmed in Las Vegas (the show my mother and I attended), this is Sarah Brightman performing "Hijo De La Luna" during the same tour.

And I hope you enjoy it!
