Spotlight: Lorn, "Acid Rain"

Hi All

This song and video have a very powerful meaning that is probably not initially realized (especially since it was voted "Best Dance Music Video" by the UK MVA in 2015).

Some Native American cultures believe that, at death, the dying are allowed to dance just once more and Death must watch. The dance is the deceased' last opportunity to express themselves. The dance mirrors the confusion and surprise of the moment of passing - with an urgency to be remembered for one last act (the dance).

When the story behind this "dance video" is known, every move and every note become meaningful.
