I hope you are enjoying the day!
It has been almost a year since I last read my poetry in public (in 2022 and in early 2023 I hosted a good number of "An Afternoon (or Evening) with Jimmy Broccoli" events throughout the state of Georgia).
I am happy to be jumping back into public readings beginning this early evening.
I will be at the Crazy Book Lady Book Store, located at 5058 Cherokee Street in Acworth, Georgia from 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm (I will remain afterwards to attend the Featured Poet's reading). Unlike the events I booked in 2022 & 2023, this is a open mic - so it will be me and other poets reading.

This (and another open mic on February 29th at the Book Bird of Avondale Estates in Avondale Estates, Georgia) is my lead in to booking 2024 Jimmy Broccoli events. I will be booking readings and book signings throughout Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, & Tennessee to promote my 4th collection of poems, "Failure" (March 18th, 2024).
Tonight's reading will include work from my 3rd book of poems, "Boy", and from my upcoming 5th collection of poems, "The Red Time of the Year" (September 2024).
May 2024 be among the best years for indie poetry!
