Hi All
Just for fun - Here is a photo of me and my therapy bunny rabbit Caesar in a second-rate motel room last July. Whenever a road trip presents itself, Caesar sits shotgun.
I look serious in the photo, but it was a really fun evening. I met with my writer's group (in a town a little more than 2 hours down the highway) that night for the first time in over a year and had a blast. If I am to be honest, re-adjusting to social occasions (after being socially isolated for so long) has been a challenge. The meeting that evening reminded me how amazing it is to be with people I care about and value.
"Getting back into the world" can be a terrifying endeavor. But, with the support of friends, I've been able to gently and slowly step into the sunshine again. I'm wearing sunglasses and running shoes, but am optimistic I'll soon need neither.
