My friend Rob sent this to me and I absolutely love it. It's a Jimmy Broccoli movie theatre with photos of me and of our storyteller Kelly Celery on side panels. It's a lot of fun. And, Rob has given me permission to use the image (as fan art) in my upcoming book of poems, "Damaged" - to be released in early December.
If the image looks familiar, it is because Rob originally created it to advertise the Marco Polio musical performance on my page and website three weeks ago. With minor adjustments, it became the Jimmy Broccoli movie theater.
As I've mentioned in previous posts, since the beginning I've consider the Jimmy Broccoli project a community project - an amalgamation of talented poets, other writers, and artists - with my poems included here and there. It continues to be a lot of fun for me and I appreciate you being a part of it!
